Thank you to Smithfield Works tenants for joining our planting activity

Thank you to our business tenants from Smithfield Works who took part in our bee-friendly flower planting morning.
Six new planters have been installed at the Smithfield estate for business and residential tenants to enjoy.
This initiative was a true community effort which saw staff members from Harrison Drury and Barclays – step away from their desks & join Adele Simmons (Community Manager at Smithfield), along with Michelle (Manager at Clayworks), on Friday 2 October, to carry out the planting activity.
The co-working community helped to fill six planters with fresh compost and soil, carefully sowing seeds ready for a colourful array of bee-friendly flowers.

Adele said: “We really enjoyed the planting activity and it was great to see some of our tenants getting involved on the day.
“The project is also part of something wider as we are also supporting Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Bee Friendly City Award Campaign and will be sharing more about that soon.”
Adele added: “All of this has now helped to create a community garden for everyone on the estate to enjoy, whether that is businesses and their employers, to residents at Clayworks and we are looking forward to what develops.”
As well as a variety of office suites, Smithfield Works also offer flexible premium co-working facilities and meeting room hire at the Hanley location.
