Smithfield Works Provides Well-Deserved Rest Stop for Midlands Air Ambulance Crew

We have recently partnered with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, by offering our support for the ‘Brew 4 The Crew’ initiative!
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity crew consists of paramedics, pilots, and flight doctors, who are on emergency standby. The team now have full access to our facilities here at Smithfield Works during business hours, giving them the opportunity to rest and recover using all amenities.
Jon Cottrell, senior partnership executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said: “Our fleet of critical care cars can reach any area in Stoke-on-Trent in an average of ten minutes. Our advanced rapid response team often attend missions back-to-back, which is why a rest stop is so important. On behalf of the crew, thank you to everyone at Smithfield Works for providing the opportunity for them to have a free cuppa and a break, keeping them refreshed an energised for the remainder of their 12-hour daily shift.”
