Ticketmaster Sport Joins Growing Business Community at Smithfield Works

In December 2024 a 60-strong team from Ticketmaster Sport moved into Smithfield Works, marking a new chapter for the Stoke-born business.

Previously based on Campbell Road, Ticketmaster Sport has now taken two private suites, totaling 1,045 sq. ft., at Smithfield Works. The new office accommodates 23 desks, with staff working in a flexible rotation to make the most of the space and team needs.

Ticketmaster Sport, founded in the late 1970s, has remained rooted in Stoke-on-Trent ever since, employing a local team and thriving as part of the global Ticketmaster business.

Adam Newsam, Chairman at Ticketmaster Sport, said:
“The team and I are excited to be moving into our new, state-of-the-art home at Genr8’s Smithfield Works. When looking for a new space, we were seeking somewhere modern, centrally located and flexible, and Smithfield Works ticked all of those boxes. We were also drawn to the space by the sense of community in the building and the opportunity to be part of a growing group of businesses in Hanley town centre.”

Smithfield was delivered in partnership between Genr8 Developments, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
